Pharmacist, PRN Behavioral Health
About The Position
Mesa Springs Innovations-Arlington, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Pharmacist to support behavioral health care in the Fort Worth, Texas community. The Pharmacist manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team; reviews and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems; and provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students. The role also includes documenting interventions and outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement, checking medication orders for accuracy and completeness before entry, and verifying the accuracy of prescriptions filled by technicians. The position is PRN on weekdays. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and a Texas pharmacy license. A doctoral degree is preferred. CPR and de-escalation certifications are required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. The successful candidate should demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment, work with minimal supervision, and take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
