About The Position

The Pharmacist supervises and coordinates the delivery of pharmaceutical care to hospital patients. Pharmaceutical care includes evaluating, distributing, and monitoring prescribed therapy to support positive patient outcomes. The position requires maintaining a current California pharmacist license and may require flexibility of hours. This is a full-time, 12-hour night-shift position at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a higher degree.
• Current unrestricted Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Mobility to respond quickly to Code Rapid Response and Code Blue situations and transport the emergency pharmacy medication box.

Nice To Haves

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Two years of experience in a progressive hospital pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities
