About The Position

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmacy and clinical healthcare services. The pharmacist consults with patients about medications, usage, side effects, and cost-effective options; provides services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; and supports medication safety through accurate compounding and dispensing and compliance with applicable regulations. The position requires a pharmacy degree, current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district, immunizer certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire, and at least one year of retail pharmacist experience.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.

Responsibilities
