Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Pharmacist for their Inpatient Pharmacy team. This position offers an 8-on/6-off day shift schedule, with flexibility for either 10-hour shifts (1.0 FTE) or 8-hour shifts (0.8 FTE) based on candidate preference and department needs. The role involves reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and suitability, providing drug information and advice, and delivering pharmaceutical care in a medical center or institutional setting. The position may involve both decentralized clinical functions (direct patient interaction, interdisciplinary team rounding, chart reviews, patient counseling, medication list collection) and centralized clinical functions (checking and dispensing medications, overseeing IV room operations). Sanford Health is headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has 53,000 employees, and serves over 2 million patients across the upper Midwest.
