Pharmacist - Evening Shift
About The Position
UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a full-time Pharmacist for its pharmacy team. The role follows a consistent Monday-through-Friday evening schedule with no weekends. The pharmacist helps deliver care to children and their families by reviewing and verifying medication orders, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, providing drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare providers, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care, and supporting medication safety and quality initiatives. The position requires a PharmD or equivalent degree and a current Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, and pediatric experience is preferred but not required. Required licensure and clearances include a Pharmacist License and Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 clearances, with renewal as applicable.
