About The Position

BHG is seeking a compassionate, driven Pharmacist dedicated to patient-centered care and recovery. The Pharmacist oversees pharmacy operations, supervises pharmacy technicians, and maintains medication accountability in support of the organization’s addiction-treatment services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with work split among treatment centers. The stated pay range is $65–$70 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Active PharmD licensure in the state of Rhode Island.
• Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
• Adequate vision to read correspondence and computer screens.
• Familiarity with standard medical office conditions and interactions with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are prepared, handled, documented, and distributed accurately to support safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain medication records and conduct monthly inventory reconciliations.
• Oversee daily pharmacy transactions.
• Monitor medication inventory and identify, investigate, and report discrepancies in accordance with company policies, DEA regulations, and pharmacy best practices.
• Lead and support pharmacy technicians in preparing pre-dispensed methadone doses and take-home medications.
• Participate in professional development, ongoing training, and required education.
