About The Position
Shawnee Health is inviting a committed Pharmacist to join our team. Our pharmacists enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend or holiday rotations. As the site Pharmacist in Charge, this role reports directly to the Pharmacy Director and plays an important part in providing safe, mission driven, and patient-centered care throughout the organization.
Requirements
- State of Illinois Registered Pharmacist License
Responsibilities
- Attend to the medication needs of patients while offering accessible, accurate drug information to patients, pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Ensure safe and precise prescription review, verification, and dispensing in alignment with state and federal regulations and Shawnee Health policies.
- Support daily pharmacy operations, including oversight of remote dispensing sites and supervision of a skilled team of pharmacy technicians.
- Help optimize pharmacy financials and workflow while enhancing the overall patient experience.
