We are currently seeking a Critical Care Pharmacist-Float to join our Clinical Inpatient Pharmacy team. This position will support a broad range of ICUs including Medical, Surgical, Burn, Pediatric and Newborn with opportunities to cross-train in emergency medicine. This position is part-time with benefits, 64 hours per pay period, day, evening and overnight rotating shifts and every 3rd weekend, 8 to 10-hour shifts. Purpose of this Position: Responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy. Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy. Responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature. Plans, organizes, and supervises work schedule of supportive personnel and pharmacists, as required.
