About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing specialized, evidence-based pharmaceutical care to oncology patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role focuses on optimizing antineoplastic therapy, ensuring medication safety, supporting regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary oncology team to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy required.
  • ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience required
  • Experience with chemotherapy order review, oncology treatment protocols, and hazardous drug handling.
  • Current Kansas pharmacist license or eligible for Kansas license and must obtain within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • PGY-2 Oncology residency preferred
  • One year of direct oncology pharmacy experience in an inpatient oncology, outpatient infusion, or ambulatory oncology setting preferred.
  • Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) within 2 years of hire
