The Pharmacist Oncology will review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders. They will also maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years required
• Hospital pharmacy experience (or clinically relevant experience)
• Doctorate Degree Required
• New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure).
• New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure within 6 months)
• Oncology Board Certification (or eligible within 2 years)

Nice To Haves

• PGY1 preferred or BCOP ( or equivalent clinically relevant oncology experience)
• PGY-1 (or clinically relevant experience) preferred

Responsibilities

• Review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders.
