About The Position

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, driving sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas, overseeing the implementation of community outreach programs, ensuring compliance with company and legal policies, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates. Requirements

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, counseling members, and maintaining confidential information and controlled medications.
Drives sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and assessing economic trends.
Models, enforces, and provides direction to Associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member needs and issues are resolved within company guidelines.
Oversees the implementation of and participates in community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good community members.
Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing reviews, and developing action plans.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies and guidelines.
