About The Position

As a Pharmacist-in-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community’s well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy, you’ll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare The above information describes the general nature and level of work performed in the role. Requirements

  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Successful completion of New York state pharmacy board examination
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing in New York
  • Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in pharmacy management
  • Specialty pharmacy experience
