About The Position

Under the auspices of the Director of Pharmacy, the staff pharmacist is responsible for assuring drug therapy needs. The pharmacist establishes rapport with other departments, medical staff, and nursing services. The pharmacist supervises department personnel in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.

Requirements

• Be a registered pharmacist (R.Ph. or Pharm.D) in the State of California.
• Be familiar with unit dose, IV admixtures, and clinical pharmacy practice.

Nice To Haves

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Completed hospital residency.
• At least two years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice or equivalent.
