This role is part of the Pharmacy Float Pool, with scheduled weekly hours of 40 and varied work shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
- No Prior Experience Required
- Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist
- Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire
- Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
- 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
Responsibilities
- Process/verify orders for medications
- Monitor patient medication therapies
- Provide drug information
- Supervise and direct support personnel
- In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
