About The Position

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our Customer Support team! Requirements

• B.S Pharmacy or Pharm D. degree from an accredited institution
• Current Oregon pharmacist license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including phone skills/etiquette)
• Good organizational skills, ability to multitask
• Flexibility
• Positive attitude and ability to work within a team and be a role model
• Passion for seniors and improving their quality of life
• Ability to work overnight shifts including rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Answer facility drug related questions/concerns and assist in solving other problems by directing to appropriate staff
• Obtain emergency orders when necessary, by contacting prescribers via phone
• Conduct DURs and review medication lists
• Assist technicians with first line phone answering as required to maintain target service levels
• Participate and comply with quality assurance program (ie.assessing call recordings)
• Provide excellent customer service and support one call resolution goal
• Provide pharmacist oversight for night shift technicians and be a positive representative of Consonus
• Assistance in training staff as appropriate
