The inpatient pharmacy department is comprised of pharmacists and technicians working collaboratively to provide safe, timely and effective medication therapy to our patients. We operate a decentralized model for both medication distribution utilizing Omnicell automation, as well as clinically with pharmacists dedicated to the teams on our nursing units. Elliot promotes career advancement through our ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program, technician career ladder, and reimbursement for a variety of professional certifications. The Clinical Pharmacist operates in both central distribution and decentralized nursing unit settings. The Clinical Pharmacist leverages strong clinical aptitude along with a team-first attitude to positively affect patient outcomes in a multidisciplinary health care team environment.
