About The Position
In collaboration with pharmacy staff, the Pharmacist provides prescribed medications and pharmaceutical care in accordance with professional standards. The role supports optimal patient care by ensuring safe medication practices and clinical accuracy. The Pharmacist advises and consults with patients, families, and medical and nursing staff to promote effective medication therapy and patient education. Employment Type : Permanent | Full-Time Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: Variable Shifts Duration: 1080 weeks
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- 1 year of post-graduate hospital experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
- Counsel patients and families on medication use
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital protocols
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
