About The Position
Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.
Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of stamping experience
- Must have 3+ years of modeling software experience (Solidworks or equivalent)
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for product development and design
- Provide input and direction in the sourcing, design, construction, PPAP, and launch of new tools, fixtures, and equipment
- Estimate, schedule, and execute all engineering changes for tooling, cost savings, etc...
- Establish new and superior sourcing methods for new tooling
- Work with production to implement Poka-Yoke methods
- Conduct annual tool audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
