About The Position

The Pharmaceutical Security Officer will be Command Center trained, responsible for addressing alarms, fire panels, monitoring security cameras, answering phones, and directing Mobile Officers. The role involves conducting proper sign-in procedures for access control to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The ideal candidate must possess strong computer skills, demonstrate excellent customer service, and be able to work collaboratively with a team. This role also requires solid written communication skills for drafting incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as needed. Officers must remain alert, professional, and responsive while maintaining a visible security presence and providing assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Driver training required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Solid written communication skills for drafting incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
  • Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Security Experience Preferred
  • Retail, food service or hospitality industry background

Responsibilities

  • Command Center training (addressing alarms, fire panel, monitoring security cameras, answering phones, directing Mobile Officers)
  • Conducting proper sign in procedures for access control to ensure the safety and security of the premises
  • Remaining alert, professional, and responsive while maintaining a visible security presence
  • Providing assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
  • Actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
  • Preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
  • Providing customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers
