About The Position

Responsible for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products in a GMP environment. Duties and Responsibilities include performing daily manufacturing tasks as assigned by supervisor, weighing materials, preparing solutions and production materials, performing manufacturing packaging and related tasks, documenting production activities in manufacturing batch records, and cleaning production equipment and the production area.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Three (3) to five (5) years related experience in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Experience with analytical balances, weighing materials accurately.
Experience with handling of solids and liquids, pouring and filtering.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to read, understand and legibly enter data in production batch records.
Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
Ability to use a calculator to add, subtract, multiply, and divide different units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to recognize and communicate practical problems in the production environment.
Ability to troubleshoot under supervision.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel plus basic email and internet functions.
GMP Training in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
