About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers, currently hiring a Pharmaceutical Liaison for their Outpatient facility in Metairie, LA. The organization is known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized care in addiction treatment, offering programs spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The Pharmaceutical Liaison will be responsible for maintaining strong communication and coordination between the facility, pharmacy, and IOP partners to support client care. This role involves managing the submission and tracking of urine drug screens, monitoring and ordering necessary supplies, ensuring timely medication delivery for clients by tracking refills and addressing delays, and providing administrative and clinical support to the provider to streamline medical operations and enhance client care.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in pharmaceutical related field preferred.
High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain strong communication and coordination between the facility, pharmacy, and IOP partners to support client care.
Manage the submission and tracking of all urine drug screens, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
Monitor and order urine drug screen supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Ensure all clients receive their medications on time, tracking refills and addressing any delays.
Support the provider with administrative and clinical tasks to streamline medical operations and enhance client care.
