Requirements

  • AS degree in chemistry, biology or related science and/or equivalent college coursework in the sciences.
  • Able to lift 10 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Works well both as a team and as an individual.
  • Team player mentality with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have good organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare buffers and solutions for labs and instrumentation.
  • General sample prep support including weighing and solubilizing samples.
  • Fill NMR systems with nitrogen weekly.
  • Assist with inventory duties and restock supply room as needed.
  • Maintain clean laboratory environments and properly dispose of items as required.
  • Other duties as needed/requested.
