We currently have a role available for a Pharma Bioanalytical Chemist at our South San Francisco site.

Requirements

BS - Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with 2-5 years industry experience or MS with 1-2 years industry experience in a mass spec focused lab on antibodies/ADCs/ proteomics or in a relevant scientific discipline focused on mass spec and ADCs.
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Works well both as a team and as an individual.
Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Responsibilities

Supporting Bio-Analysis sample preparation, design and perform mass-spec analysis as well as data analysis/interpretation from in-vivo studies from triple-quad mass spectrometers (Sciex 7500)
Characterization of recombinant proteins, antibodies, and ADCs using intact-MS and peptide mapping for routine QC using high-res mass spec platforms (Orbitrap).
Working closely with a team of scientists to support the development, optimization, and executing analytical assays for protein characterization and bioanalysis to guide large molecule therapeutic design.
Collaborating with the team to meet timelines and deliverables.
Performing general lab maintenance and instrument calibrations.
