About The Position

This job is located in Telfair County. Under general supervision, the PH Registered Nurse 2 provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures. The role provides community health services to the public and focuses on preventing illness, injury or disability, promoting health, and maintaining the health of populations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and one year of nursing experience.
• Complete a PHN course within one year of hire.
• Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification.
• Alternatively, one year of experience at the lower-level PH Registered Nurse 1 (HCP190) or an equivalent position, with a current Georgia RN license and CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
