About The Position

Everyday our employees help us deliver safe, affordable, and reliable service to our more than 4.9 million customers. They are helping shape our company and how our customers see us. This position will report to the Plant Manager and be based at the Plant Manatee in Parrish, FL. The position will troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations while ensuring the plants’ mechanical equipment is in excellent operational condition and available for use at all times. The successful candidate will have a strong safety leadership presence and have bias for action.

Supervisor/Management Experience: 0+ years

Nice To Haves

Mechanical maintenance experienced
Planning and executing daily maintenance on industrial plant equipment including, gas turbines, steam turbines, large pumps, fans, and valves
Maximo, Operations Model Processes and Microsoft productivity tools
Six sigma quality tools
Managing projects within budget and identifying capital/O&M projects to forecast plants’ future budget

Responsibilities

Focuses on optimizing site maintenance
Develops technicians’ skills and knowledge
Standardizes processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability
Applies leadership skills for internal employee development and performance management
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
