About The Position

TTI Environmental, Inc. is seeking a qualified Petroleum Technician to support our Construction and Contracting Division. This role requires knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures, and general environmental construction, concrete, and excavation. The position is field-based and involves travel to project sites throughout Maryland and surrounding regions.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant field construction or mechanical installation experience is required
Experience in construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principles
Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems
Knowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systems
Local and extended travel is required
The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
At least 18 years old
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screen and physical
Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Construction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements
Assist foreman, supervisors, crew workers as needed
Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properly
