PumpTex, Inc in South Texas is seeking to hire an Entry Level Petroleum Service Technician to provide excellent customer service, repairs, and maintenance to the gas stations they serve in McAllen and surrounding areas. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer operations
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history
  • Self-starter with a great attitude
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attentive to safety

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of petroleum dispensers and related equipment a plus (Wayne, VeriFone, Gilbarco)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to a variety of service calls including emergency response and after hour on-call.
  • Repair and maintain dispensers, turbines, UST tank top equipment, UST monitoring equipment, and dispenser calibration.
  • Track inventory on the company vehicle to ensure that you have all the equipment you need to help our clients.
  • Follow up to ensure that our clients are taken care of.
  • Keep up to date on new equipment launches and industry compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing training.
  • Manage client expectations through correct judgments, sound decisions, and technical knowledge.
