About The Position

Wild Rose Co-operative Association Ltd. is recruiting for a driven Petroleum Sales Representative who will specialize in sales at our fast-growing Killam Bulk Plant, as well as leverage sales across our other commodities such as Agriculture and Home & Farm Supply. Co-op does business differently. As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.

Requirements

Certificate, diploma or degree in a Sales and marketing related program
3+ years Direct Sales experience (including cold calling, cross-promoting, making in person home or business calls)
Knowledge of the Agriculture industry and its related products and equipment
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and listening skills
Ability to be persuasive
Understanding of financial statements and inventory controls
Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
A valid Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract

Nice To Haves

Related experience in the Co-operative Retailing System is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Develop and build petroleum, oil and lube sales in local and expanding trading area
Provide customers with good, efficient, courteous service
Utilize and initiate customer contact programs
Resolve customer concerns
Aid in the development and understand business planning, budgets and price strategy
Utilize the BRIC system
Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Work safely and watch for the safety of others around you
