About The Position

Nwestco LLC is seeking a Petroleum Equipment Service Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background. Training is provided for the right candidate. Nwestco has been a leader in the petroleum equipment and car wash industry for over 25 years, serving the Northwest and Rocky Mountain region. This role involves working independently in the field on various petroleum equipment, with support from an experienced team.

Requirements

• Experience servicing petroleum equipment or a strong electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, diesel, HVAC, or field service background
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently
• Must be 21+ years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past five years
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tank monitoring systems such as Veeder-Root
• Familiarity with fuel dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, POS systems, or similar equipment
• Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER

Responsibilities

• Working on fuel dispensers (Gilbarco & Wayne)
• Working on fuel pumps and submersible turbine pumps (STPs)
• Working on underground and aboveground storage tanks (USTs & ASTs)
• Working on Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems
• Working on leak detection and fuel system monitoring equipment
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations
• Responding to service calls at commercial fueling facilities
