About The Position

Evergreen Co-op is seeking a Petroleum Driver to dispense petroleum products and drive a fuel/lubricant truck. The role involves maintaining image and merchandising standards at various locations, performing general housekeeping, adhering to company policies, and other assigned duties. The position requires wearing personal protective equipment, following safe work practices, and transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions.

Requirements

Valid Class 3 Driver’s License required
Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
Organizational skills and great time management
Ability to work in independently and within a team environment
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada (for example, by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or work permit).

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude is an asset
Prior retail experience is an asset
Previous or current retail experience in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS)
Good eye for detail
Reliable
Positive attitude
Strong interpersonal skills
Outgoing and energetic

Responsibilities

Dispensing petroleum products, driving fuel/lubricant truck (gasoline, diesel, oil)
Maintaining image and merchandising standards in the storage yard and retail, bulk and cardlock locations
GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES
ADHERING TO ALL EVERGREEN CO-OP POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
PERFORMING OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Wearing all personal protective equipment and following all safe work practices
Transitioning frequently between indoors and outdoors, as well as, working in all types of weather conditions
