About The Position

Provides imaging, therapeutic, and patient care services at defined levels to patients. Implements radiation protection and safety standards. Applies as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principle to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical factors accurately. Orders, prepares, administers, and disposes of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols. Maintains a quality assurance program according to regulations established by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Requirements

• Diploma, Associate's degree or higher in Science or related field required upon hire
• CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist required upon hire OR RT(N) - Certified as a Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology required upon hire OR PET- Positron Emission Technology Certification required within 24 months of employment in this position
• BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position
