About The Position
Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee medical imaging organization, is seeking a full-time PET Technologist (Nuclear Medicine) to join their dynamic team. The role involves providing World-Class Imaging to improve the health of Southern Arizona. Multiple shifts are available Monday - Friday, with some evening hours potentially required. The position is located at the Camp Lowell Site in Tucson, AZ.
Requirements
- Current Arizona CNMT
- Certification for nuclear medicine through ARRT or NMTCB
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sensitive to the needs of patients
- Must function effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow the instructions of the Radiologist
- Ability to maneuver equipment
- Ability to prepare patients for procedures including physical capability of moving patients
- CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
- Communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
- Perform precise, prompt, and high-quality PET/CT examinations.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware.
- Enter and monitor patient data.
