About The Position

Pet Paradise is seeking a Seasonal Pet Playtime Coordinator to organize and manage daytime play groups at its Peachtree City resort. The coordinator interacts with and monitors dogs in play areas, including the play-yard and pool, and uses appropriate toys, tools, and handling techniques to maintain safe play. The role involves monitoring dogs continuously, managing stress and unusual or aggressive behavior, following management instructions, and helping with cleaning and play-yard maintenance. Work may take place in heat and humidity, with exposure to pool water. The schedule requires flexibility to meet resort needs, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• A genuine passion for working with animals.
• Ability to work in all-weather conditions, including heat and humidity, and tolerate exposure to pool water.
• Comfort around dogs of all sizes and the physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, push, and grasp.
• Flexibility to meet resort scheduling needs, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Interact with and monitor dogs in play areas, including the play-yard and pool, using appropriate toys and tools to ensure safe play.
• Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and distribute attention and play among all dogs in the playgroup.
• Minimize stress levels and handle aggressive or unusual behaviors.
• Control play levels by following management procedures and instructions and using proper dog-handling techniques.
• Assist the team with cleaning and play-yard maintenance.
