Pet Lodge & Doggy Day Camp Lead
About The Position
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and compassionate Pet Lodge & Doggy Day Camp Lead to help direct our team and ensure every pet in our care receives exceptional attention, comfort, and fun! This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys both working with dogs and leading people. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face at the front desk while also overseeing the daily operations of our Pet Lodge, Doggy Day Camp, and Grooming team. Requirements
- Experience in pet care, boarding, daycare, grooming, or veterinary settings preferred
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide staff
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Confidence working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- A genuine love for dogs and a passion for providing outstanding pet care!
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and schedule boarding, daycare, and grooming appointments
- Welcome pet parents, check pets in and out, and process payments
- Help new customers understand our services, operations and policies
- Oversee daily Pet Lodge and Doggy Day Camp operations to ensure safe, happy, healthy dogs
- Monitor dog behavior and health and communicate concerns to staff
- Lead, support, and monitor pet care staff and grooming schedules
- Create staffing schedules based on occupancy and seasonal demand
- Assist with billing, budgeting, and day-to-day business operations
- Ensure all team members follow procedures and maintain high standards of care
