About The Position

Chaar is now hiring pet groomers for our Trexlertown, PA location as well as other Lehigh Valley locations. Come be a part of our team! This role involves producing professional, high-quality grooms safely and efficiently, communicating effectively with clients, maintaining salon cleanliness and safety, cooperating with the team, and scheduling appointments. The position offers a sign-on bonus for experienced groomers.

Requirements

1+ years of pet grooming experience in a professional grooming salon or completion of grooming school
Ability to consistently groom small dogs such as Shih-Tzus in 90 minutes (1.5 hrs) or less with safe and professional results
Ability to consistently groom large dogs such as Golden Doodles in 150 minutes (2.5 hrs) or less with safe and professional results
Cooperative / works well with others
Good time management skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours at a time)
Excellent customer service attitude
Basic computer literacy for use of scheduling systems
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Must be able to bend, twist, reach, and perform other movements necessary for pet grooming
Must be able to work two weekday shifts 12pm-8pm and one weekend shift 10am-6pm

Nice To Haves

Ability to consistently complete small dog grooms in 45-60 minutes (for top end of salary range)
