South Anderson Veterinary Clinic is searching for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team on a part-time basis. Requirements
- Previous pet grooming experience preferred
- Ability to safely restrain and handle pets compassionately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable attendance and professional communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
- Compassion for pets, clients, and coworkers
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a veterinary clinic setting is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Groom dogs according to breed standards and client requests
- Perform bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and de-shedding services
- Safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
- Monitor pets for signs of skin, ear, or health concerns and communicate findings to veterinary staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming area
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients
- Assist with scheduling and maintaining accurate grooming records
