This role involves working 2nd shifts with 12-hour rotating shifts. The position requires constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Responsibilities include identifying parts or machines needing replacement, utilizing shop mathematics, and interpreting drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. The role also involves responding to production requests for mechanical issues, communicating with production management to diagnose problems, performing preventive maintenance, and completing tasks accurately and efficiently. Additionally, the position entails ordering and receiving maintenance supplies, creating requisitions, logging into SAP for PO issuance, implementing and training mechanics on the new SAP S4 program, establishing and maintaining the S4 program, managing the parts room inventory, and scheduling PMs while tracking maintenance activities and costs.
