About The Position

Parker Plastics is seeking an experienced Custom Blow Mold Mechanic for their North Las Vegas, NV facility. This is an hourly position, with pay dependent upon qualifications and experience. The facility operates 24/7, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts. The work environment is climate-controlled, a safety food-grade environment, and a clean manufacturing facility. Qualified candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years thermoplastic processing experience
• Read and understand written English
• Communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years related experience
• Completion of apprentice or other training program

Responsibilities

• Work with others in a positive and constructive manner
• Monitor operations
• Set up machines to approved processing parameters
• Solve daily production and technical processing issues
• Troubleshoot
• Assist in training team members
• Ensure that products manufactured meet or exceed all quality requirements
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards, policies, and procedures
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
