Under the direction of an authorized user, the PET/CT Technologist is responsible for the use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation to generate fusion images for diagnostic and research purposes. This role involves administering radiopharmaceuticals, reviewing patient history, ensuring patient preparation, performing laboratory procedures, operating Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation, and participating in administrative functions such as supervising personnel and quality assurance projects.
