About The Position

Tailchasers Barrington Pet Resort is hiring reliable, attentive, and motivated pet lovers to join our team. No previous experience is required—we’ll train you. This role involves supervising and managing dog playgroups, providing pet spa services, keeping kennels clean, feeding pets, administering medications, and reinforcing basic dog training commands. The job requires working indoors and outdoors in all weather, on your feet for most of your shift.

Requirements

• US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
• Able to pass a background check
• 16 years of age or older
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Dependable, teachable, and flexible
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Able to stand for up to 6 hours at a time
• Basic computer/tablet skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage dog playgroups
• Provide pet spa services (baths, nail trims/grinds, teeth brushing, ear cleaning)
• Keep kennels and pet lodging areas clean and sanitized
• Feed pets and administer medications as directed
• Help reinforce basic dog training commands (sit, stay, wait)
