About The Position
Paws Around Motown is a professional mobile pet care company serving Oakland County. We are a structured, systems-driven team of pet care professionals. We are hiring a full-time Pet Care Technician to cover our west side route: Farmington, Southfield, West Bloomfield, Franklin, and Bloomfield Hills. This is the territory of long driveways, quiet streets, and clients who have been with us for years. The pace is steady. The relationships are deep. The work matters. We are looking for someone who has been waiting their whole life for a job like this — and wants to grow in it.
Requirements
- Open availability — mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Wants a career in pet care, not a fill-in until something else comes along
- Dependable to the minute and detailed to the dot
- Can be trusted with a key, a code, and a quiet house
- Stays calm when a dog gets sick, a key sticks, or a thunderstorm rolls in
- Communicates clearly before, during, and after every visit
Responsibilities
- Dog walking, feeding, hydration, and medication administration in clients' homes
- Snout-to-Tail Health Assessments at every visit
- Written client updates and photos through our CRM after every service
- Calm, confident handling of pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Occasional overnight care, new client consultations, and light marketing tasks
- Outdoor work in every Michigan season — including February
