About The Position

Paws Around Motown is a professional mobile pet care company serving Oakland County. We are a structured, systems-driven team of pet care professionals who take this work seriously. We are hiring a full-time Pet Care Technician to cover our west side route, including Farmington, Southfield, West Bloomfield, Franklin, and Bloomfield Hills. This role involves steady work, deep client relationships, and meaningful work. We are looking for someone who wants a career in pet care and wishes to grow in this role.

Requirements

• Open availability (mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Desire for a career in pet care
• Dependable and detailed
• Trustworthy with keys, codes, and quiet houses
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations (e.g., pet illness, key issues, thunderstorms)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments

Responsibilities

• Dog walking, feeding, hydration, and medication administration in clients' homes
• Snout-to-Tail Health Assessments at every visit
• Written client updates and photos through our CRM after every service
• Calm, confident handling of pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Occasional overnight care, new client consultations, and light marketing tasks
• Outdoor work in every Michigan season
