Bellwood Animal Hospital is a five-doctor small animal and exotic practice in Rockford, Illinois, known for providing high-quality medicine and exceptional client service. We’re looking for a Pet Care Attendant who is passionate about patient care, teamwork, and creating a clean, comfortable environment for the animals entrusted to us. Nice To Haves

Previous veterinary clinic, hospital, boarding, or animal-care experience preferred but not required
Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care for animals in the hospital
Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, runs, treatment areas, and other patient-care spaces
Feed, water, walk, and monitor patients according to hospital protocols
Complete laundry and help maintain appropriate sanitation standards throughout the hospital
Observe patients for changes in behavior or condition and communicate concerns to the medical team
Assist teammates with safe patient handling and movement as needed
Keep animal-care areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
Restock supplies and help maintain an efficient hospital environment
Support hospital cleanliness across treatment and kennel areas
Jump in wherever needed to help keep the day running smoothly
