Stone Mountain Pet Lodge is seeking dependable and caring individuals to join their Pet Care team as a Pet Care Assistant. This entry-level position involves caring for dogs by providing exercise, playtime, cleaning, and attention. It's an ideal role for those who love animals and wish to build a career in pet care, as the company provides training.
Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Loves dogs and enjoys working with animals
- Reliable and dependable
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable being on your feet and working indoors and outdoors
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs and supervise playtime
- Help keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable
- Clean suites, play areas, dishes, toys, and equipment
- Watch for changes in pets' behavior or health and report concerns
- Help keep our facility clean, organized, and welcoming
- Work closely with your teammates to provide excellent care
