Tails-A-Wagn' in Claremore, OK is ready to hire full-time and part-time Boarding technicians. We pay a competitive hourly wages of $10-$15 depending on experience. The Day-To-Day The typical schedule for our Boarding technicians depends on if you are one of our wonderful full-time team members or an awesome part-timer. The pets are here every day and must be taken well care of so that includes weekends and holidays. We have positions for weekdays, weekends and holidays. As a Boarding technician, you arrive at the facility ready for your workday by the start of your shift. You are always professional and kind to the animals and your team of pet professionals. You have an excellent work ethic and enjoy contributing to the health and needs of the pets in your care. You are always willing to learn more and enjoy improving your skill set in canine behavior techniques that you have been trained while being a team member. Tails-A-Wagn' is a premium pet care business offering spa services along with daycare, overnight lodging and training. Our Daycare is well equipped with enriching toys, playground and everything needed to keep the facility clean and tidy. Requirements

  • A love of working with pets
  • Positive Attitude
  • Great work ethic.
  • Can lift 50lbs and work in all types of weather
  • Is not afraid of hard work, even if it means getting a little dirty and covered in dog "kisses"

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pet care is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Confidently handle dogs of all sizes, including large and strong breeds, with care and control.
  • Maintain patience, a good-natured attitude, and a calm demeanor, even in high-energy or challenging situation.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness and strength, with the ability to safely lift and/or carry 50lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a loud environment.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, professionalism and a positive attitude when interacting with pets, clients and team members.
  • Possess mental resilience and the ability to stay composed under pressure, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every pet.
  • Arrive at the facility ready for your workday by the start of your shift.
