About The Position

Our grooming departments have given us the opportunity to "beautify" some of Richmond's most fashionable pets for over 50 years! Our grooming departments bathe and de-matt, provide anti-shedding treatments, anal gland expressions, pedicures and teeth brushing, along with a variety of other "spa" services. We will provide training, but graduation from a certified grooming school or other previous training is a plus! Flexibility! We are a resort business, open 7 days a week. Candidates must be able to work a flexible workweek, including working major holidays, Mondays, and weekends. Candidates must also be willing to help our pack members in other areas of the facility when needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Ability to bathe, dry, de-matt, and finish pets in a professional manner. Ability to stand for long periods of time, with frequent walking and ability to lift larger dogs. Dependability, enthusiasm, and someone seeking a company with strong values. This workplace is moderately and physically demanding. Candidates must have the ability to lift and push up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, be able to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch, along with the ability to move pets within the facility, vehicles, up and down stairs, and in and out of enclosures.
