About The Position
The Pest Technician will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential homes and various businesses. They will identify pest problems, determine effective eradication methods, and provide recommendations to prevent future infestations. This role also involves building new business through sales. The position offers a base salary of $44,365 - $49,035, with additional incentive bonus and commission opportunities.
Requirements
- A Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Customer service experience
- Willingness to obtain your Applicator's License
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience an asset
- Prior experience in route sales, route service, field sales, field service, service technician, territory representative, restaurant manager, restaurant server, construction, hotel manager, sales, customer service
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
- Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
- Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
- Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
- Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site
