Pest Control & Wildlife Technician
About The Position
Coastal Wildlife & Pest Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Pest Control & Wildlife Technician to join their fast-growing team in Jacksonville. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to advance their careers. While no prior industry experience is required, a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to think independently are essential. The technician will be responsible for inspecting properties, applying treatments, setting and removing wildlife traps, and performing exclusion work to prevent pests from entering homes. This is a physical, hands-on role with varied daily tasks and requires daily interaction with homeowners.
Requirements
- Clean driving record and valid license.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Able to work outside in Florida weather.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Industry experience is not required, as training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Inspect properties for pest and wildlife issues.
- Apply pest control treatments.
- Set and remove wildlife traps.
- Perform exclusion work to seal entry points in attics, crawl spaces, and roof returns.
- Interact with homeowners daily.
- Work independently in the field.
