About The Position
American Pest Control, a brand of OPC Pest Services, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Pest Control Technicians in Champaign, Illinois. This full-time, year-round position offers the opportunity to start your day from home, drive a company vehicle, and work independently within your local community. No prior pest control experience is required, as comprehensive training, tools, and support will be provided. The role involves protecting homes, families, and businesses from pests, building customer relationships, and managing your own service route. Requirements
- No experience in pest control necessary
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license must be maintained through life of employment
- Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform pest management services for residential and commercial customers
- Inspect properties and recommend solutions
- Build strong customer relationships based on trust and professionalism
- Manage your route efficiently and independently
- Identify opportunities to better serve your customers
- Maintain service documentation and reports
- Work closely with office staff to ensure excellent customer service
