Part Time Pest Control Technician
About The Position
We’re seeking a Part-time Pest Control Technician who excels in an autonomous outdoor environment, is committed to ensuring customer happiness, is passionate about building relationships, and takes immense pride in a job well done. This role has the potential to grow into a full time position. As a Pest Hunters Technician, you’ll be the friendly face our clients trust. Your day will include leading a team of technicians in delivering outstanding pest and mosquito control services, training new team members and reinforcing best practices in safety and service, driving to client homes and businesses and performing detailed property inspections, applying control treatments using backpack sprayers and other equipment, communicating with customers and ensuring they’re informed, satisfied, and loyal, supporting scheduling, route planning, and inventory management, and representing the Pest Hunters/Humbug Holiday Lighting brand with professionalism, positivity, and pride.
Requirements
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience (home services, retail, restaurant, or field team)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Eye for detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to obtain pest control licensing (training provided)
- Enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced, physical environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pest control, landscaping, construction, or maintenance
- Managed small teams or trained others in any setting
- Customer service or delivery driving experience (Uber, DoorDash, Amazon, etc.)
- A passion for leading others and taking ownership of results
